Every Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) has a registered office. It is a place to which all communications addressed to LLP by the Registrar are sent.

The LLP may change its registered office within the local limits of the city / town / village or between two States or from one ROC to another in same state as per the procedure laid down in LLP agreement. Where the LLP agreement does not provide for such procedure, consent of all the partners shall be required for changing the place of registered office of LLP to another.

For any change in Registered office, LLP need to follow the procedure and file applicable form with the Registrar.

Yes. If limited liability partnership contravenes any provisions of this section, the limited liability partnership and its every partner shall be punishable with fine which shall not be less than Rs. 2,000/-  but which may extend to Rs. 25,000/-
